Objective: To analyze the perceptions about ethics from the academic and business executives perspectives, within the scope of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in a multidimensional analysis of virtues and values.
Methodology: A quantitative descriptive research was carried out, through the application of a survey, with 223 interviewees. Based on a model proposed by Stückelberger & Duggal (2018), the model of this research was elaborated, based on the literature of business ethics and philosophy. The treatment of the data was carried out through the procedures of the analysis of structural equations
Results: The results show that the model was statistically significant, but lacking adjustments to build a more cohesive index. They also reflect perspectives already addressed in works on business ethics, in which it is possible to notice that there are, among the philosophical conceptions of ethics, those that are most present in the respondents' opinions. Each of the dimensions manifests itself in different degrees of importance, but with the possibility of making theoretical meanings emerge in practice.
Contributions to the literature: Analysis of a quantitative model that may give rise to new frontiers of research in the area.
Contributions to society: Provides measurement of phenomena, which allow the construction and evaluation of concrete parameters.
